My Rules For a Successful Book:
AKA Bookish Pet Peeves
1. Love Triangles
I am sick and tired of them - in any kind of polygon. They're overdone.
If you choose the wrong person, my opinion of the book will lower.
They can also feel a bit like cheating, and that's never okay.
Note: Some exceptions may apply.

2. Insta-Love
If you don't know what it is, it's when the characters are fall in love immediately or without proper build-up.
It's unrealistic and annoying. Besides, relationships are much more fun when there's some anticipation.

3. Clichés
I don't want to hear about the evil stepmother and stepsisters, the nasty popular kids at school, or the dead family member (unless it brings something meaningful to the story). I have no sympathy.

4. Naive Heroes/ Heroines
You are ridiculously stupid. If this were real life, you would be dead. Die bitch die.

So are you still supposed to be a human or...?

6. Rushed Endings
Don't ruin a great book with a bad ending. It's the ending that people remember most.

7. Show. Don't Tell.
I have to see it to believe it.

8. Unnecessary Sequels
There is no need for this. Don't ruin a great book/series. Leave it while it's still good.

10. Cover changes in series
Because I absolutely love it when my book covers don't match.
